The Dell Deployment Pack (DDP) was designed to be an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI)-based tool that integrates directly into the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 (ConfigMgr) console. It eliminates the need for command-line tools and scripts normally used in the Dell OpenMange Deployment Toolkit (DTK) software.
To configure and deploy your Dell systems, you need to select configuration options and commands on the GUI using drop-down lists and check boxes (see “Using The Dell Deployment Pack”). These selections make your system deployment an easy, automated task.
Using the ConfigMgr Task Sequence Editor, you can do the following with the Dell Deployment Pack:
– Configure your system’s Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), Dell Remote
– Access Controller (DRAC), Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID), and BIOS.
– You can configure BIOS and RAID using .ini files. You can configure your system settings using the GUI or command-line interface (CLI) options. You can also configure – RAID using the Array Builder wizard.
– Create a Dell-specific boot image that will be used in the OS deployment.
– Create and apply driver installation packages for specific Dell systems.

Dell Deployment Pack Free Download [32|64bit] (April-2022)

This utility provides you with a graphical user interface (GUI) for setting up many of the settings for Dell servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008. It is designed to be used by the Windows Deployment Services or System Center Configuration Manager component of System Center 2007. It has many of the same features as the DLTk toolkit.
When you install the Dell Deployment Pack, the web-based interface gives you a few options to begin. Let’s look at some of the available options.
Getting Started:
After you install the Dell Deployment Pack you can run it using the Configuration Manager console’s Start menu.
From the Start menu, select Application | Dell Deployment Pack. The Dell Deployment Pack opens. On the left side of the screen are tabs for various configurations.
The Applications tab offers a simple, integrated interface for configuring Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), Dell Remote Access Controller (DRAC), Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID), and BIOS settings.
The Components tab has a set of dependencies, such as prior version, current version, and recommended version. The page for the prior version identifies any possible problems that could occur if the required component is not installed. The Components tab also provides a check box to check the box that indicates that the component is not necessary.
The Components tab includes a box titled Recommended version. If the version listed in the box is not what you actually installed, the recommended version is listed as an option. If you want to install the recommended version, check the box. If you do not check the box, the installation will attempt to upgrade your server. Dell recommends that you upgrade your server instead of installing the recommended version if you do not want to manually update any components.
The BIOS tab allows you to set various BIOS settings such as the Boot Path and Boot Order.
The Drivers tab includes a list of any required drivers for the server. You can select and install the appropriate drivers for the server from this tab. If you do not see any required drivers for your server, you may need to install the required drivers.
The Systems tab provides a simple interface for setting up settings related to operating system deployment.
Systems
The first page of the Systems tab has a drop-down list that lists all available servers on the system. From this drop-down list, you can select one of the servers for the available options.
After you select the system, you can select the operating system image for that server. The available operating systems

Echo results of Command

I am trying to echo the results of the cmd
i.e :
$navigate = “C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe”;
echo “$navigate “;

if i want to redirect the output to a variable or just echo it. This won’t work as the files extracted by 7-zip have spaces in their name. If i use backticks it will of course work but i would rather not.
Any ideas as to how i can echo the output without putting up with spaces in my filename?

A:

You could trim the space:
$navigate = “C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe”
$navigate = $navigate -replace ” “, “”
echo “$navigate”

Alternatively, you can add double quotes to prevent the shell from trying to tokenize on spaces, or just print the literal string.
