You first encounter the Swordsman in the Castle. You can win the Arena and reach the last arena. When you win the last arena, there are two options to get to the Crown of Command:
– You may choose a Treasure to reach the Crown of Command. Be careful, the treasure may require a specific character!
– You can choose a course in the world map to reach the Crown of Command. You can never choose a dead end course!
A Treasure that has been unlocked for you gets added to your Collection. In the Collection, you may see a Treasure that you can’t see in the game. If you own the Talisman: Digital Edition, you have to unlock them to be able to see them in your Collection.
Greetings Swordsman! You have been chosen to participate in the Grand Tournament. During the fight, you may be attacked and have to deal with the other player’s attacks. If you lose a life, the round is over. If the round is over, there will be another round. If you lose all your lives, you will be out of the current Grand Tournament round and will begin as a loser to the one next in line.
Each player will have a number of lives assigned to them depending on the difficulty. You may have 1, 2 or 3 lives with no lives needing to be thrown away. At the end of the match, the player with the highest total wins!

You are a Kaplan who has lost your family and you try to find the answers to the disappearance of your wife and child (most of the reviews on Steam seem to miss out that this game has no combat, so it’s as much about plot and character as it is about ‘choosing right’ or ‘choosing wrong’).The game is quite linear, and you basically have to make the same choices over and over again, while your decisions have repercussions in the future of the story. The writing is very well done, and the characters are very realistic (and I say that because I’m a woman, I don’t want to be stuck in a book with a macho hero). I also really enjoyed the soundtracks of the game. I play games that make me think, not games that make me play ‘the fan version’ of old arcade games.
