The Founder Freedom Day is a private, in-person intensive for founders who are ready to stop being the bottleneck and build a business that grows without them in every decision.
Atlanta, GA · Maximum 12 founders per session

You built something real. Revenue is there. The team is capable. But somehow every major decision still flows through you. Every fire lands in your lap. You are the ceiling.
This is founder dependency, and it does not fix itself. It gets worse as the company grows, until the cost of your involvement becomes the cost of your company's potential.
One day is not enough to fix everything. But one day is enough to see clearly and to leave with a plan that actually moves the needle.
Most founders have some of these. Very few have all eight. Each gap is a constraint on your growth, your time, and your company's ultimate value. This day is built around diagnosing exactly which ones are costing you and how to close them.
The Founder Freedom Day is built on one principle: you cannot scale beyond yourself until you know exactly which freedoms you are missing and what it will take to build them. We spend the day doing exactly that.
No motivational talks. No death by PowerPoint. This is a structured, facilitated day where you do real work on your real business with Gene and a small group of peers who are in the same fight.
We open with your personal assessment. You score yourself across all 8 Freedoms and we map exactly which gaps are costing you time, energy, and company value. This is not a personality test. It is a diagnostic that points directly at the work.
Most founders address symptoms. We go after root causes. In facilitated small group sessions, we drill into the specific leadership patterns — how you delegate, how decisions get made, how accountability actually works — that are creating founder dependency in your organization.
This is the hands-on working session. Gene works directly with each founder, not in front of a room but at your table, to build a specific, prioritized plan for your three highest-leverage freedoms. You leave with a real plan, not a list of ideas.
We close with public commitments from every founder in the room. Then three to five founders bring their most pressing constraint to a live hot seat. The group works it in real time. Every person leaves with momentum, not just notes.
Every founder leaves with the same four things. Not a workbook you never open. Not a recording you will not watch. Actual deliverables you can put to work Monday morning.
The question is not whether one day of this level of focus pays for itself. It will. Most founders identify one change on this day that pays back ten times the cost. The question is whether you are ready to make it.
Seats are capped at 8 per session. Once full, the next date is the only option.
One founder. One full day. One clear plan. If you can't find a business partner to bring, this is still the highest-ROI day you will spend on your business this year.
We keep the room small on purpose. That means we can only say yes to the founders this day is genuinely built for, and we will tell you straight if it is not a fit.
All sessions are held in Atlanta, GA. Exact location confirmed upon registration. Sessions run 8:30am to 5:00pm.
I walked in thinking my team was the problem. I walked out realizing I had trained them to bring everything to me. That one shift changed how I operate every single day.
The hot seat in the afternoon was worth the entire day. Gene spent 20 minutes on my exact situation and gave me a path I had been circling for two years.
I brought my co-founder. We left aligned for the first time in a year. Having a third party surface what we were both avoiding was the most valuable thing we did all year for the business.

Attendees of Founder Freedom Day receive a signed copy of Get Founder Freedom by Amanda and Gene Hammett. It's the strategic blueprint behind everything we do in the room that day, and a field guide you'll use long after you leave.
If you want to go deeper on the framework before you arrive, this is your starting point.
Reclaim your calendar by building a team that runs without your constant involvement.
Build leaders who own outcomes, make smart decisions, and drive the business forward.
Increase what your company is worth whether you plan to sell, scale, or step back.

Gene Hammett has spent over 16 years inside the conversations of America's fastest-growing companies, hosting more than 1,200 episodes of the Growth Think Tank podcast and interviewing over 800 Inc. 5000 founders and CEOs.
What he found: the companies that scale successfully are not the ones with the best products or the biggest markets. They are the ones where the founder stopped being the answer to everything and built a team and a culture that could carry it forward.
The Founder Freedom Day is the distillation of everything he has learned about how that transition actually happens and how to accelerate it.
The sweet spot is founder-led companies with 10 to 100 employees and $2M to $25M+ in revenue. If you are under $1M, this work is premature. Build revenue first. If you are over $25M, the individual day format may not go deep enough. Reach out about private engagements instead.
Because you cannot get real work done in a room of 50. The afternoon session, where Gene works directly with each founder on their specific situation, only works if the room is small. That is not a marketing tactic. It is a design requirement.
Honestly, ask yourself what one week of your time is worth right now. If it is more than $1,500, and it is, then a day that frees up five hours a week for the next year is not a $1,500 decision. It is a compounding one. Most founders identify a single change on this day that pays back the investment many times over.
Two reasons. First, the math: you each save $500. Second, and more importantly: the biggest changes in how a founder operates require organizational alignment. If your leadership partner is not in the room when the diagnosis happens, you will go home and have to re-explain everything. Bring them. The breakthroughs are faster and the follow-through is stronger.
Yes and no. The Founder Freedom Day stands completely on its own. You leave with a real plan you can execute independently. For founders who want to go deeper into a full 3 to 12 month engagement to systematically build all 8 Freedoms, the day often serves as the starting point. But there is no obligation or pitch. The day is the day.
Your seat is fully transferable to another session up to 14 days before the event. No refunds within 14 days, but you can always transfer to a future date.
The founders who break through are not the ones who worked harder. They are the ones who changed how they lead. One day with the right room, the right diagnosis, and the right plan is how that shift starts.
Seats are strictly capped at 12 per session. When a date fills, the next available is the only option.
